It is free to make an account, just like every other service provided by JG. Also, the affiliates page is a great place to find other Sims 2 sites that JG had deemed appropriate and offer free content. JG does not affiliate itself with sites that require payment for Sims 2 content due to it being against the EA's copyright agreement.
